Shkmeruli Chicken

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces or small serving portions, discarding excess fat and any bones if using bone-in pieces.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Add the chicken pieces to the hot oil and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 20-25 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low once the chicken is cooked and stir in the sour cream until fully combined and the chicken is evenly coated.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes on low heat, stirring gently, until the sauce is heated through but not boiling.

Transfer the shkmeruli to a serving dish and serve immediately while hot.
