Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Combine the crushed corn flakes (or breadcrumbs), salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl and mix well.

Pour the melted butter into another shallow bowl.

Dip each chicken piece into the melted butter, coating both sides evenly.

Roll each buttered piece in the corn flake mixture, pressing gently so the coating adheres on all sides.

Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer on a greased baking sheet, skin-side up.

Bake for 45 minutes until the coating is golden brown and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
