Ingredients

  • – 2 pounds boneless chicken breast

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them on a cutting board.

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ½ inch using a meat mallet.

In a bowl, combine Cajun spices such as paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and salt.

Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of each chicken breast, working the seasonings into the meat.

Place the seasoned chicken in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Carefully place the marinated chicken breasts in the hot skillet, allowing them to cook without moving for 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
