Ingredients
- (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pound) chicken1 unitcut up and skinned

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Pat the cut-up chicken pieces dry with paper towels and arrange them skin-side down in a large baking dish.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the honey until well combined.

Bake for 30 minutes, then turn the chicken pieces over and brush with additional butter-honey mixture.

Continue baking for another 15–20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.

Arrange the banana slices around the chicken in the baking dish and brush them with the remaining butter-honey mixture.

Bake for an additional 10–12 minutes until the bananas are tender and the glaze is caramelized.
