Spiced Fruit Salad

Ingredients
- gm tinned pineapple chunks225 unit
- gm tinned peach chunks225 unit
- gm tinned mango slices225 unitcut into chunks
- gm tinned guava halves225 unitcut into chunks
- 1 unit
- black cardamoms2 unit
- 4 black peppercorns3 cloves
Method

Drain the tinned pineapple chunks, peach chunks, mango slices, and guava halves, reserving 120 ml of the combined fruit juices.

Cut the mango slices and guava halves into bite-sized chunks if not already in that form.

Place the reserved fruit juices in a small saucepan and add the cinnamon stick, black cardamoms, black peppercorns, and cloves.

Heat the juice and spices over medium heat until the mixture reaches a gentle simmer.

Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the spices to infuse fully into the juice, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Combine all the prepared fruit chunks in a serving bowl.

Pour the spiced juice through a fine sieve over the fruit to strain out the whole spices, allowing the flavored juice to coat the fruit evenly.

Gently toss the fruit to combine and distribute the spiced juice throughout.

Chill the salad for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the spice flavors to develop.
