Wash and halve the lemons, then remove any seeds (pit) from the fruit to ensure a clean juice extraction.

Juice the lemons using a citrus press or reamer, straining the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a clean bowl to remove any pulp or remaining seeds.

If desired, sweeten or dilute the lemon juice with a small amount of simple syrup or water to balance the acidity before freezing.

Carefully pour the prepared lemon juice into a standard ice cube tray, filling each compartment to just below the rim to allow for expansion during freezing.

Place the filled ice cube tray on a flat, level surface in the freezer to ensure the cubes freeze evenly without spilling.

Freeze the lemon juice cubes for a minimum of 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until they are completely solid throughout.

Once fully frozen, remove the tray from the freezer and gently twist or press the bottom of the tray to release the fruit cubes.
