Mrs. Truman's Candy Carrots

- 2 to 3 tablespoons

Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Melt the oleo in a large skillet over medium heat, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.

Add the sliced carrots to the skillet and stir to coat with the melted oleo.

Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the carrots and stir gently to combine.

Cook uncovered over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are tender and the sugar has caramelized into a glaze.
