Ingredients

  • Sugar * 1 cup rice powder
    2 cups
  • tbls carvi powder
    2 unit
  • tbls aniseed powder
    1/2 unit
  • tbls cinnamon powder
    1/2 unit
  • roughly chopped nuts
    pine kernels, almonds, grated coconut
    1 unit

Method

Combine rice powder, carvi powder, aniseed powder, and cinnamon powder in a medium bowl and mix well to distribute all spices evenly throughout the flour mixture.

Heat 2 cups of water in a pot over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil.

Slowly add the dry rice and spice mixture to the boiling water while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent lumps from forming.

Add the sugar to the pot and continue stirring constantly over medium heat until the mixture thickens to a paste-like consistency.

Pour the hot mighli into serving bowls while it is still warm and thick.
