Gather all ingredients and chill a highball or Collins glass by filling it with ice and setting it aside to cool.

Measure and pour the apricot ingredients and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a cocktail shaker.

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes, ensuring there is enough ice to thoroughly chill the mixture.

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for approximately 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty and cold.

Discard the ice from the chilled glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes.

Strain the shaken mixture from the cocktail shaker into the prepared ice-filled glass.
