Tea Smoothie

Ingredients

  • blackcurrant and blackberry tea bags
    5 unit
  • strawberry and mandarin tea bag
    1 unit
  • 1 cup
  • strawberry and kiwi juice
    cups
  • 2 tbsp
  • vanilla ice cream (frozen yogurt
    sherbet, or sorbet may be substituted)
    1 cup
  • 1 cup
  • whipped cream (optional
    for garnish)
    1 unit

Method

Brew the 5 blackcurrant and blackberry tea bags together with 1 strawberry and mandarin tea bag in 1 cup of boiling water for 4-5 minutes until fully steeped.

Remove all tea bags and discard them, then set the brewed tea aside to cool for 2-3 minutes.

Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Top each glass with whipped cream if desired and serve immediately while still cold.
