Ingredients

  • (46 ounces) can apple juice
    chilled
    1 unit
  • carbonated lemon-lime beverage
    chilled
    2 quarts
  • lemon sherbet or lime sherbet
    1 pint

Method

Chill all beverage ingredients (pineapple juice, apple juice, and carbonated lemon-lime beverage) in the refrigerator until cold, at least 1–2 hours ahead of time.

Pour the chilled pineapple juice into a large punch bowl.

Add the chilled apple juice to the punch bowl and stir gently to combine.

Pour the carbonated lemon-lime beverage into the bowl just before serving, stirring gently to preserve carbonation.

Scoop the lemon or lime sherbet into the punch bowl, allowing it to float and slowly melt into the beverage.

Serve immediately in chilled glasses, ensuring each glass receives a portion of the sherbet.
