- one part strong hot coffee or espresso1 unit

Method

Gather all ingredients and equipment, including a shot glass, a small pouring jug, and a fine grater or nutmeg mill. Ensure the shot glass is clean and at room temperature.

Measure approximately 25ml of Galliano liqueur and pour it carefully into the shot glass, filling it roughly two-thirds of the way.

Gently pour a layer of thick cream over the back of a spoon held just above the surface of the Galliano, allowing the cream to float on top without mixing. Aim for a distinct, clean layered effect.

Using a fine grater or nutmeg mill, dust a small, even pinch of freshly grated nutmeg directly over the cream layer to finish the preparation.
