Ingredients

- pony of whiskey1 unit
- pony of vermouth1 unit

Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to a cocktail mixing glass.

Pour 1 pony of brandy, 1 pony of whiskey, and 1 pony of vermouth into the mixing glass with the bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes, then stir vigorously for 20β30 seconds until well-chilled and properly diluted.

Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass using a bar strainer, leaving the ice behind in the mixing glass.

Serve immediately without garnish, or with a lemon twist if desired.
