Combine softened butter and flour in a large mixing bowl, stirring until a crumbly texture forms.

Add water gradually to the flour-butter mixture, stirring until a stiff dough forms.

Knead the dough gently on a lightly floured surface for 1-2 minutes until it comes together smoothly.

Roll dough to approximately ¼-inch thickness and cut into desired cookie shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.

Arrange cut cookies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are firm to the touch.
