Oatmeal Macaroons

- teaspoonful of vanilla½ unit
- tablespoonful melted butter½ unit
- of rolled oats1¼ cups
Method

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine the beaten egg, salt, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and stir until well blended.

Add the melted butter to the egg mixture and stir to combine thoroughly.

Fold in the rolled oats gently until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Drop small spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until the macaroons are golden brown on the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
