Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Combine the baking mix, vegetable oil, and water in a large bowl, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8-10 times until the dough comes together smoothly.

Pat the dough into a ½-inch thick rectangle using your hands or a rolling pin.

Cut the dough into rounds using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a drinking glass, pressing straight down without twisting.

Place the biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Bake at 425°F for 10-12 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
