Daisy Dueller

Fill a cocktail glass with ice cubes, filling it about three-quarters full.

Pour 1½ oz Tennessee whiskey into the glass over the ice.

Add 1½ tsp fresh lemon juice to the glass.

Stir in 1½ tsp simple syrup until combined with the whiskey and lemon juice.

Add several drops of Cointreau to the mixture and stir gently.

Top the glass with club soda to fill, stirring once more to integrate all ingredients.

Garnish with a lemon wheel or fresh daisy flower if desired, and serve immediately.
