Description
Chickpeas and linguiça
This recipe taken from www.Portuguese-recipes.com
Ingredients
½ lb of
chickpeas
¼ lb of
linguiça
, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium
onion
, chopped
1½ tsp of
salt
1 tbsp of
vinegar
Procedures
Wash the
peas
and soak overnight in cold
water
enough to cover the
peas
.
Drain the
peas
and pour them in a pan, cover with
water
, add the linguiça along with the rest of the ingredients.
Bring all of this to a boil, reduce to low heat and cook for 3 hours.
