Description
Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
1 medium
onion
, chopped
1 clove
garlic
, minced
1 tablespoon
butter
or
margarine
1 cup uncooked
rice
⅛ teaspoon ground
saffron
1¾ to 2 cups
chicken broth
2 tablespoons chopped fresh
parsley
Procedures
Cook
onion
and
garlic
in
margarine
in 2- to 3-quart saucepan until soft.
Add
rice
and
saffron
; stir 2 to 3 minutes.
Add broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer; cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until
rice
is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Add
parsley
and fluff with fork.
