Description
Toasted pumpkin seeds [1][2] a tasty fall treat.
Ingredients
- pumpkin seeds
- cold water
- 1 tsp salt
- vegetable oil
Directions
Clean the seeds from a pumpkin, then place in a pan, add cold water and salt. Cover this and let simmer for ~2 hours. Strain and sit the seeds on paper towel, allow for time to dry ~4 hours. Take dried pumpkin seeds, place on a baking pan. Drizzle vegetable oil on seeds, then place in a heated oven at 350 degrees F for ~26 minutes or until browned. Ensure you flip/stir them a few times while being baked. (optional) Add salt for taste.
