Description

Directions

  1. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour.
  2. Shake to remove excess.
  3. In skillet saute onions in 4 tablespoons margarine.
  4. Add farmer cheese; blend thoroughly.
  5. Add muenster cheese, onions corn salt, milk and cornmeal; mix thoroughly.
  6. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, then lightly beat yolks separately.
  7. Combine and stir into cornmeal mixture with anise seed.
  8. Turn into prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake in preheated 400°F oven 45 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. Serve hot, cut in squares.
