Ingredients
- 1 cup cracklings (diced)
- 1½ cups cornmeal
- ½ cup wheat flour
- ½ tsp soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup sour milk
Directions
- Mix and sift together the dry ingredients.
- Add milk, stir in the cracklings.
- Form into oblong cakes and place in greased baking pan.
- Bake in hot oven (400°F) for 30 minutes.
