Description

Golden banana fritter known as "maruya" in the Philippines.

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Add milk, water and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until batter is smooth.
  3. Peel the bananas and slice lengthwise.
  4. Dip in the batter.
  5. Deep fry in cooking oil, browning evenly.
  6. Drain and serve with brown sugar.
