Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Whisk eggs, essence and sugar together in bowl.
  2. Gradually whisk ilk into egg mixture, pour into lightly greased ovenproof dish (6 cup capacity), sprinkle with nutmeg.
  3. Place in baking dish with enough boiling water to come halfway up the side of ovenproof dish.
  4. Bake, uncovered in moderate oven about 45 minutes or until custard is firm.
