Baked Custard

Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup castor sugar
- 1 liter hot milk
- ground nutmeg
Procedures
- Whisk eggs, essence and sugar together in bowl.
- Gradually whisk ilk into egg mixture, pour into lightly greased ovenproof dish (6 cup capacity), sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Place in baking dish with enough boiling water to come halfway up the side of ovenproof dish.
- Bake, uncovered in moderate oven about 45 minutes or until custard is firm.
