Quick Baked Beef-Pasta Dish

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook beef and onion in a large skillet until meat is lightly browned.
  3. Drain.
  4. Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning.
  5. In a large bowl, combine meat mixture and spaghetti sauce and mix well.
  6. Add cooked pasta and mix well.
  7. Spray large baking pan with cooking spray.
  8. Pat meat-pasta mixture level in baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top.
  10. Cover with aluminum foil.
  11. Bake in oven 20 minutes.
  12. Remove foil.
  13. Bake uncovered another 10 minutes.

Tips, Notes, and Variations

  • Baking pan should be large enough to have contents in 1 or 2 inch layer.
  • Don't overcook, or pasta will absorb too much liquid and get soggy.
