Vine-ripened Tomatoes Provençal

Description

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hager Estate in Canton, Texas in 1982. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare tomatoes and set aside.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients except for bread crumbs, pepper and salt.
  4. Add bread crumbs and mix well.
  5. Season with pepper and salt and spread mixture evenly over each tomato half then place tomatoes in a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
