Pancake mix

Pancake mix [1][2] this is a common breakfast staple.


  • 6 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 lb. vegetable shortening


To store: blend all ingredients into a coarse pasty consistency- keep in glass jar and cover.

To use: Blend 1 cup of mix, add; 1 egg, 2/3 cup or milk/water and cook on a pan.
