Ingredients[edit]

MEAT AND VEGGIE PITAS WITH YOGURT

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 cups strips of meat (beef, lamb or pork)
  • 1 tsp each ground cumin and dried oregano
  • 4 warmed pocketless pitas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • sliced onion
  • slicedcucumber
  • sliced tomato
  • Plain yogurt

Procedures[edit]

Heat oil in skillet. Add meat, sprinkle with cumin and oregano. Saute 2 min. or until hot. Remove from heat. Top pitas with lettuce, onion, cucumber, tomato. Top with meat. Dollop with yogurt, roll up and serve.
