Hungarian-style Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil peeled and quartered potatoes in salted water till tender.
  2. Strain off cooking water.
  3. Add butter to pot and mash potatoes.
  4. Add ½ of sour cream, blend in potatoes.
  5. Add 1 whole raw egg into potato mixture and whip.
  6. Add a little more sour cream if not moist enough.
  7. Add salt to taste.
