  1. Let the beans soak in water for at least 12 hours.
  2. Boil them as long as they need to soften.
  3. If you do not soak the beans will not soften easily.
  4. Place the beans in a pan.
  5. Mash the tomatoes and spread the mash in the pan.
  6. Mash the garlic with a mortar.
  7. Add salt, pepper, olive oil, mashed garlic and the parsley.
  8. Bake the lima beans for 45 minutes in medium temperature.
