  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
  3. In large bowl combine flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. In medium bowl, using a fork or wire whisk, mix sugar and water.
  5. Blend in egg whites and corn syrup.
  6. Gradually stir into dry ingredients until smooth.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan on wire rack.
