Bacon and Tomato Sauce with Rice

Makes 6 to 8 servings (3 cups sauce)

  1. Combine celery, Onion and Bacon in large skillet; cook until Bacon is crisp.
  2. Add flour and cook 1 minute.
  3. Blend in tomatoes, Sugar and broth.
  4. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
  5. Serve over hot rice.
