- onion chopped into long thin strips1 large
- potatoes3 mediumpeeled and chopped into bite-sized chunks
- chunks of frozen1 unitpre-pulped garlic, ginger and green chile
- spices: turmeric (halidi)1 unitgaram masala, ground coriander, salt
- seeds: onion seed and cumin (jeera) seeds.1 unit
