- bulgar wheat (cous cous works very well as a substitute1/4 cupor rice if gluten free)
- finely chopped garlic2 cloves
- flour1/4 cup
- baking powder1 tsp
- ground cumin1 tsp
- ground coriander1 tsp
- tumeric1/2 tsp
- fresh ground black pepper1 unit
- salt1 tsp
- juice of one lemon1 unit
- chili powder or equivalent hot sauce1/4 tsp
- tbs tahini (sesame paste)1 unit
- onion1 smallfinely diced
- oil for frying1 unit
