Ingredients

  • bunch dasheen leaves (leaves of the taro plant....found in tropical Australia
    optional)

  • bunch silver beet
    1 unit
  • okra
    cut into rounds (approx 15)
    12 ounces
  • garlic
    chopped
    3 cloves
  • scotch bonnet peppers (yellow squat looking)
    1 whole
  • bunch spring onions
    peeled and chopped
    1 unit
  • thyme
    leaves only
    1 sprig
  • olive oil
    1 tablespoon
  • crabmeat or 6 small crabs
    backs removed and cleaned and cut in ½" pieces
    500 g
  • streaky bacon
    cut into small pieces
    250 g
  • – 2½ cups chicken stock or vegetable stock
