Ingredients
- chopped fresh tomato2 cups
- ½ cup chopped white or yellow onion1 unit
- chopped cilantro2 tablespoons
- ½ teaspoon salt1 unit
- freshly squeezed lime juice2 teaspoons
- ground black pepper1 teaspoon
- ½ tablespoons stemmed1 unitseeded, and minced jalapeño or other chiles
- clove of garlic1 smallminced
- hot sauce1 unitto taste

Wash the vegetables and cilantro.

Dice the vegetables.

Combine them, mixing well.

Add salt, pepper, chiles, lime juice, and garlic.

Add hot sauce if desired.

Let stand 30 minutes to allow ingredients to mesh.
