Ingredients
- pork300 g
- (150g) Hokkien-style rice noodles2 cups
- (150g) bean sprouts2 cups
- garlic4 cloves
- Chinese five-spice powder1 tsp
- soy sauce1 tbsp
- sugar1 tsp
- chicken stock powder1 Pinch
- Turmeric powder (or paprika)1 unitjust used for colour
- vegetable oil2 tbsp
- (250ml) water1 cup
- Lettuce and Asian greens1 unit
- Pepper1 unit
- Croûtons1 unit
- Spring onions1 unit
Method

Heat oil and paprika.

Fry pork with smashed garlic, soy sauce, chicken stock and spices for 3 minutes

Add 1 tbsp water and fry for a further 2 minutes.

Remove from heat, put aside.

Put hot water on heat and add sprouts, cook for 1-2 minutes until soft.

Remove sprouts, add noodles and cook noodles for 2 minutes.

Put noodles in a bowl, on top of lettuce and greens, add pork, chopped spring onions, croûtons, and pepper.
