Ingredients

  • dried assorted fruit
    1 lb
  • beaten egg
    1 unit
  • flour
    1 lb
  • brown sugar
    6 tbsp
  • tea
    1 1/2 cups
  • jam
    2 tbsp
  • mixed spices
    1 tbsp

Method

Soak the fruit in the tea for 24 hours

Mix flour, sugar, egg, spice, fruit, and marmalade in bowl. Spoon into a loaf tin and cook for 45 minutes at 325F.

Let cool, remove from tin, then glaze with honey.
