Frozen Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups
  • vanilla yogurt or plain yogurt
    2 cups
  • (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
    thawed
    1 unit
  • (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
    thawed
    1 unit
  • bananas
    sliced
    4 unit
  • (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 unit
  • (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries
    thawed
    1 unit

Method

Combine water, yogurt, thawed orange juice concentrate, and thawed lemonade concentrate in a large bowl, stirring until smooth and well blended.

Add sliced bananas to the yogurt mixture and stir gently to coat evenly with the liquid.

Fold in the crushed pineapple with its juice, mixing until incorporated throughout.

Add the thawed frozen strawberries and stir until all fruit is evenly distributed in the mixture.

Pour the fruit salad mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish or similar freezer-safe container, spreading evenly.

Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Remove from freezer 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the salad to soften slightly for easier scooping.

Serve in individual bowls or dishes, scraping with a spoon to create a slushy texture if desired.
