Ingredients

  • envelope Knox acidulated gelatin
    1 unit
  • 1 cup
  • tablespoonfuls condensed milk
    6 unit
  • teaspoonful lemon flavor
    ½ unit
  • 2 cups

Method

Sprinkle the Knox gelatin into 1 cup cold water and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to bloom, softening the gelatin without stirring.

Pour 2 cups hot water into a large bowl and add the bloomed gelatin mixture, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes until the gelatin completely dissolves.

Stir in the 6 tablespoonfuls of condensed milk until fully incorporated into the gelatin mixture, creating a smooth, even consistency.

Add the ½ teaspoonful of lemon flavor and stir well to distribute the flavoring throughout the liquid.

Divide the mixture evenly among 4 serving cups or glasses and allow to cool to room temperature for about 15 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours until the pudding sets completely and becomes firm and jiggly.
