Tequila Sunrise

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes, leaving room at the top for the liquid ingredients.

Pour one part tequila into the glass over the ice.

Top the glass with three parts fresh orange juice, stirring gently to combine the tequila and juice.

Slowly pour two dashes of grenadine down the side of the glass; it will sink to the bottom and create the signature sunrise effect.

Stir gently from the bottom to distribute the grenadine slightly without completely blending it, maintaining the gradient color effect.

Garnish the rim with a maraschino cherry speared on a cocktail pick and rest it across the top of the glass.

Serve immediately and enjoy the layered flavors.
