Method
1
Peel and slice the banana into chunks, then place them in a zip-lock bag and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
120 minutes
2
Remove the frozen banana chunks from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes to slightly soften before blending.
3 minutes
3
Add the frozen banana chunks, piña colada mix, Bailey's Irish Cream, banana liqueur, and rum into a high-powered blender.
2 minutes
4
Add a generous amount of ice cubes to the blender to achieve a thick, frozen consistency similar to a frozen daiquiri or smoothie.
1 minutes
5
Blend all ingredients on high speed for 45-60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and free of any ice chunks.
1 minutes
6
Taste the blended mixture and adjust the sweetness or alcohol balance by adding more piña colada mix, Bailey's, or rum as desired, then blend briefly again.
2 minutes
7
Pour the frozen mixture into chilled glasses or dessert cups, garnishing with a slice of fresh banana or a pineapple wedge on the rim if desired.
2 minutes
8
Serve immediately while frozen, optionally with a straw and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes on top for added texture and presentation.
