Pour the coffee liqueur into a shot glass or cocktail shaker.

Add the vodka and orange juice to the shot glass or shaker with the coffee liqueur.

If using a shaker, add ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled and combined.

If mixing in a shot glass, stir the three ingredients together with a bar spoon until fully combined.

Strain the mixture into a shot glass if using a shaker, or serve directly if mixed in the glass.

Serve immediately as a shot, consuming it in one or two gulps to experience the layered flavors.
