1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix together flour, salt, and softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
2
Press the flour-butter mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan to form an even crust.
3
Bake the crust for 12 minutes until lightly set but not browned, then remove from oven.

4
Toss the peeled and sliced mangos with 1 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl until evenly coated.
5
Spread the crushed corn flakes evenly over the partially baked crust, then arrange the spiced mango slices over the corn flakes in an even layer.
6
Brush the top of the mangos with the beaten egg yolk mixture (egg yolk mixed with milk to equal ⅔ cup).
7
Bake for 20-23 minutes until the mango layer is tender and the egg wash is set.

8
Remove from oven and let cool completely before preparing the glaze.
9
Beat the reserved egg white until stiff peaks form, then gently fold in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
10
Heat 2 tbsp milk and 2 tbsp sugar together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
11
Fold the warm milk mixture into the powdered sugar glaze until it reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.
12
Drizzle the glaze evenly over the cooled bars and allow it to set before cutting into squares and serving.
