Method

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup sugar, and 1/2 tsp salt in a bowl.

Cut 3/4 cup cold butter into small cubes and work it into the flour mixture using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly set.

While crust bakes, beat 2 eggs in a bowl until combined. Stir in 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 1/2 tsp maple flavor until smooth.

Fold 2 cups chopped nuts and 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips into the egg and condensed milk mixture.

Pour the nut and chocolate filling evenly over the partially baked crust, spreading to cover the entire surface.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling is set and the edges are light golden brown.
