Oatmeal Cookies à la Guinea

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. cream butter and sugars.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time.
  4. Into a separate bowl, sift flour with salt and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture.
  6. Stir in oats.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
