In Romanian: crema de castane
- Cream the butter with the sugar and rum.
- Make an X into the chestnut peel, and set to boil.
- Start with cold water.
- Let boil for just a few minutes.
- Then peel the chestnuts, grind and then sieve them.
- Put the chestnut puree in a bowl and gradually add the butter mixture.
- Mix well.
