Texas Taco Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground Beef with chopped Onion.
  2. While Beef is browning, press raw crescent dough into bottom of deep pie dish.
  3. Spread 1 cup of the crushed corn chips on top of the dough.
  4. When Beef is browned, stir in taco seasoning mix and water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Layer Beef mixture on top of the crushed corn chips. Next, spread on the sour cream, followed by a layer of Cheddar Cheese.
  6. Top off with the remaining crushed corn chips.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until dough turns golden.
  8. Serve with shredded lettuce and tomatoes on top. Add salsa if desired.
