Raisin Pilau

Serves 4



  1. In saucepan, melt butter or margarine and saute onion, almonds, and raisins or sultanas until onion slices are golden.
  2. Add rice, mix well.
  3. Add hot chicken broth.
  4. Place mixture in greased 6-cup casserole.
  5. Cover.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 25 – 30 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
